Initial Consultation & Attorney Fees

At an initial consultation, an attorney will meet with a client for one to two hours to review documents, analyze facts, and provide legal advice on potential next steps.  The fee for an initial consultation is $325.00, and is due at the time of consultation.  

After the initial consultation, the attorney’s fee is based upon the amount of time spent working on your case.  Time is billed in one-tenth of an hour increments based on the standard billing rate for the attorney or other professional working on the case. No matter what type of case, it is impossible to determine in advance how much time will be needed; however, we are committed to achieving the results sought by the client through the most efficient means possible.

The Firm requires retainers from new clients, the terms of which are governed by a written contract for legal services signed by the attorney and the client.  The amount of the retainer depends upon the nature of the case, and the payment terms will be discussed at the initial consultation.
